In conjunction with fragrance licensee Puig, iconic fashion house Prada is to introduce an eau de parfum called Infusion d'Iris this autumn. It will debut in the US first (in September) and then roll out to Europe and then Asia.
Infusion d'Iris is only the fashion house's third fragrance, following the eponymous women's scent in 2004 and Amber Pour Homme last year.
Miuccia Prada herself worked with Givaudan's Daniela Andrier to create the jus. As its name implies, iris is the scent's dominant note. It also features top notes of orange blossom and mandarin, as well as base notes of galbanum, lentisk, benzoin, incense, vetiver and cedarwood.
