During her visit to Southern Africa, from 9 to 12 February, EU Trade Commissioner Catherine Ashton plans to give a boost to the negotiations for bilateral and regional agreements, and in particular economic partnership agreements (EPA) with countries in the region. She is set to hold talks with key government leaders.
Ashton will be in Cape Town, on 9 and 10 February, where she will meet South Africa's Trade Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa and Foreign Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
