Opportunities were to be had Friday night, and that alone might have been the kiss of death.
It's like the Wild doesn't have the ability to seize an opportunity.
Friday night, against the 13th-place Nashville Predators, the Wild had a chance to win a third consecutive home game for the first time this season and third game in a row overall for the first time since mid-November.
It had a chance to jump into fifth in the West.
