Schuman, based in Stevensville, Mary Land, USA, announced that it has completed the installation of its air-purification system, which combines an inline air purifier with titanium dioxide ([TiO.sub.2]), on the megayacht MY Lady Joy. The air-purification system is said to be able to eradicate 90% of harmful airborne contaminants in just one hour.
The Nautic Air system uses a proprietary combination of [TiO.sub.2] andultraviolet (UV) light to produce hydroxyl radicals, which are able to reduce mould, bacteria, viruses and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air.
