EIGHTY human rights violations were filed at the Interior Ministry's complaint office last year, it was revealed yesterday.

They have been dealt with according to human rights rules and regulations and 11 complaints are still being investigated, said Interior Ministry inspector Brigadier General Ibrahim Habib Al Ghaith.

He said the ministry had set up the special office to receive complaints and suggestions from residents and citizens.
