BROWNWOOD, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 1997--Trinity Gas Corporation (OTC BB:TRGA) announced today that it will change its trading symbol on the Nasdaq OTC Bulletin Board from TRGA to TRGC, effective May 1, 1997.
"Trinity's stock has been actively traded on the Nasdaq OTC Bulletin Board since mid-1994 under the symbol TRGA," stated Sid Sers, president and chief executive officer of Trinity Gas Corporation, in a telephone conversation from Trinity's Palmira 1 drilling site near Cali, Colombia, "but Houghten Pharmaceuticals has decided to take over our trading symbol as part of its name change to Trega Biosciences, Inc."
