FORMER Equality Authority chief Niall Crowley, who quit his '140,000-a-year job in protest at Government cutbacks, is signing on the dole.

But Mr Crowley remains philosophical about how his principled stand against the cutbacks has impacted on his personal finances.

"Well, I suppose it will be quite significantly changed circumstances in terms of the amount (of money), and I suppose it's circumstances that are sadly shared by an awful lot of people. I mean, when you look at the queues that I've been standing in, it's a singular experience in that regard," he says in an interview with TV3's Ursula ...
