Chittagong, Feb 10 (UNB) - The weekly tea sale Tuesday witnessed a strong demand for clean liquoring varieties at higher levels but market eased towards the latter half.

There was a heavier weight on offer comprising of end of season types.

Blenders operated strongly whilst there was quite fair interest from the loose tea section of the market. There was only some buying on account of Pakistan.

Better liquoring dusts were well competed for at dearer levels.

CTC LEAF: 27,249 packages were on offer. Market opened on a strong demand at generally dearer rates but eased with the progress of sale. There were heavier withdrawals.
