A training seminar for those who serve liquor in licensed premises is being held in Albany today to refresh bar owners and others in the laws governing the serving of alcohol.
The State Liquor Authority and District Attorney David Soares are entrusted with ensuring that the license holders serve alcohol lawfully and responsibly and comply with state laws, Soares said in a release announcing the event.
The seminar is free and open to all. It begins at 9 a.m. at the Palace Theater on Clinton Avenue. Joining with Soares and the SLA in hosting the seminar is the Empire State Restaurant & Tavern Association.
