Apr. 21--While maybe not the Fight of the Century, the brewing face-off between reigning heavyweight Pixar Animation Studios and scrappy comer Pacific Data Images has industry insiders taking odds and scrambling for ringside seats.
In this corner, weighing in at $660 million and with 250 employees, is Pixar, represented by Battlin' Steve Jobs. In the opposite corner is underdog PDI, newly located to Palo Alto and now brokering movie deals worth "millions of dollars," according to founder-CEO Carl Rosendahl.
