The New Urban Communities Authority (Nuca), part of the Housing, Utilities & Urban Development Ministry, has issued the long-awaited tender for the New Cairo wastewater project.
It is Egypt's first public-private partnership (PPP) scheme to be launched in the wastewater sector.
Bids for the project are due on 31 March. in the meantime, the client has received bidders' questions on the draft concession contract and is preparing responses. A conference for bidders has been scheduled for the last week of January. Depending on the outcome of the conference, the chant will either adhere to the current bid deadline or extend it.
