Custom rubber mixer Oregon Rubber Mills will expand production capacity at its Corvallis plant by about 30 percent with the addition of a mixer.
The company installed the new piece of equipmentan 80-liter mixer with an intermeshing rotor design from Kneader Machinery USA Ltd.late last year and plans to have it fully operational sometime in the first quarter, said Mike Kumbalek, Oregon Rubber Mills technical director.
"We had a big need, to continue to improve our quality and keep up with our growth, he said.
