JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Physician Sales & Service, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSSI) today announced preliminary operating results for the fourth quarter ended March 28, 1997. Actual results for the fourth quarter and year end are expected to be released on May 27, 1997.
The Company stated that it expects fourth quarter fiscal 1997 revenue to increase 30% over the same period last year to approximately $187 million. Revenues for the fiscal year ending March 28, 1997 are expected to grow 30% over the prior year to $690 million.
