SPORTING memorabilia worth thousands of pounds will go under the hammer to save Nuneaton's Riding Centre For The Disabled from closure.
Big names like rugby star Martin Johnson and cricketers Sir Ian Botham and Geoffrey Boycott will be doing their bit to help the centre with signed memorabilia set to fetch thousands of pounds.
The centre in Galley Common has had to be temporarily closed due to an outbreak of the highly contagious bacterial infection strangles which has struck six horses of the 20-strong stable.
