PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 1997--Hewlett-Packard Company today announced a major price reduction on its entire monochrome line of network LaserJet printers, including the LaserJet 4V, 5 and 5Si printers and the LaserJet 5Si mopier. The move follows HP's recent announcement of a strategy to lower "total cost of ownership" (TCO) for customers. Today's price reductions, effective immediately, affect nine of the industry's most popular laser printers and represent savings of up to 20 percent, depending on the specific printer model.
