May 2--Bed and breakfasts, which traditionally have been located in historic and residential areas of Nashville, may soon be sprouting in Davidson County's countryside.
The Metro Planning Commission Thursday approved locating bed and breakfasts in rural areas of the county with a series of stipulations, including:
They must be located on at least five acres of land.
They can have no more than six rooms.
The owners must live in the house.
The number of consecutive days people can stay in a B&B is limited to two weeks.
