Work was done at night at the west end of the project
A 7.3-mile hot mix asphalt overlay on M-46 in Muskegon County, MI, began in September 2008 and was completed in October 2008. The project included cold milling. The road is five lanes and it narrows down to two lanes at what was the east end of the project.
"There were some challenges with traffic on the west end of the project. The west 1-1/2 miles was done at night, due to US-31 traffic.
