Jim Mack, Florida project director for DiMucci Development Corp., says that it's Volusia County's great prices and value combined with a good airport, good schools and good opportunities that point to a solid real estate market.
The Daytona Beach area, according to the National Association of Home Builders, ranks ninth in the state and 47th in the nation for affordable housing. Seventy-six percent of all homes sold in the area are within reach of the median income household.
