SOUTHBRIDGE - Four new private rooms and three semiprivate rooms will open today for Harrington Memorial Hospital patients, who will have separately controlled flat-screen televisions with cable, and Wi-Fi access if they have personal laptop computers.
The seven rooms are the initial phase of the nonprofit hospital's first substantial upgrades to patient rooms in a building that opened in the 1970s, officials said.
Nurse Manager Kathleen F. Chahanovich led a tour yesterday of the partially revamped 2 North wing.
