Swedish speciality vegetable fats manufacturer AarhusKarlshamn AB (AAK) (OMX Stockholm:AAK) issued its year-end report on Thursday (19 February), posting an operating profit of SEK851m, as compared to SEK653m in 2007.

"Increased volumes and margins for Chocolate and Confectionery Fats and Food Ingredients and positive developments in the most recent acquisitions within Food Ingredients are the main contributors to this improvement," said Jerker Hartwall, CEO of AarhusKarlshamn.
