A DEFIANT Harriet Harman last night vehemently denied she was manoeuvring to put herself in a position to replace Gordon Brown.
The Labour deputy leader spoke out after days of speculation that she is preparing a bid to succeed the Prime Minister if Labour crashes to defeat at the next election.
But Miss Harman said: 'There is not a shred or iota of truth in that, none whatsoever.
