(Nasdaq:GILT) and one of the worldEs leading providers of satellite networking solutions, announced that its CEO, Andreas Georghiou, was nominated for Via SatelliteEs Satellite Executive of the Year 2008 award. Nominees were selected based on major achievements in 2008 and their contributions to the satellite industry as a whole. The seven nominees were announced in Via SatelliteEs February issue, and the winner will be announced at the SATELLITE 2009 conference in Washington D.C. on March 26th.
