The international Space Station (ISS) is the world's biggest science project. When it is finished, astronauts from around the world will be able to live and work together 365 kilometers (220 miles) above the Earth. The first part of the Space Station is expected to be launched in November of 1997. It will take 43 more trips to bring up all the other parts. When the Space Station is completely put together, it will be bigger than a football field.
Sections of the Space Station
