"Endoscopic resection is an adequate treatment for subgroups of patients with early gastric cancer. Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) represents a recent advance and leads to good results when adequately indicated," scientists writing in the journal Gastric Cancer report (see also Gastric Cancer).
