DMC, WSU end their $12.3M payment fight
After nearly a year, Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center have agreed on a revised contract which resolves a $12.3 million physician payment dispute.
It requires WSU to provide additional services to DMC, after which it will receive the disputed funds over time, said Mary Zuckerman, DMC's chief of business operations.
School President Jay Noren said the new contract, which runs through June 2010, is satisfactory.
