TWO favourites obliged in three of the cup events at the races in Sakhir yesterday.
Envision and Give Way won the Batelco Broadband Stakes and National Guard Cup respectively while Muthaqaf was a surprise victor in the race for the Nadeem Ashar Ali Cup.
Give Way, owned by Fawzi Abdulla Nass, trained by Fawzi Nass and ridden by Anthony Whelan, beat CrAme Brulee by two-and-half-length to win the National Guard Cup for Group Two locally bred horses which carried a cash prize of BD5,000.
Agencourt was third and Wellington fourth.
