Feb 23, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A number of listed companies in Australia's ICT sector have posted lower earnings in the February 2009 reporting season. These include ComputerCORP and Oakton. Meanwhile, Telstra, iiNet and Melbourne IT are among the companies that have not yet released their latest results. The global financial crisis has affected the earnings of many ICT companies, which have also been hit by cutbacks in IT expenditure by some of their major corporate clients.
