GE Transportation will supply seven L250 inline diesel engines for three separate projects.

The first contract--for four L250 engines--will go to New Orleans- based Crescent Towing. The two six-cylinder L250 diesels will each power two new 91 ft tugboats.
The second contract is for two L250 diesels that GE diesel engine distributor Motor Services Hugo Stamp, Inc. (MSHS), Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. will use to replace the engines on Cross Sound Ferry's John H.
