Eli Lilly to expand operations in China
Shanghai. February 23. INTERFAX-CHINA - U.S. pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and Co. will expand its operations in China, local health authorities said on Feb. 19.
According to the Suzhou Food and Drug Administration, Eli Lilly is planning to set up a second manufacturing facility and a new marketing subsidiary in Suzhou City in eastern China's Jiangsu Province. The company has already purchased 5 hectares of land in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) to facilitate its expansion.
