Coast Guard Auxiliary to offer boating class in Eugene
The Oregon State Marine Board's "Boat Oregon Class" will be offered Saturday in Eugene by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The all-day course on responsible boating begins at 8 a.m. at the Eugene Fire Department Training Facility, 1705 W. Second Ave. Additional classes will be offered March 21, April 18 and May 16. Cost of the class is $15. Completion of the course earns participants an Oregon Boater Education Card. Registration details: Rick Parsons, (541) 463-1797.
