SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 20, 1997--Eltrax Systems Inc. (Nasdaq SmallCap: ELTX) announced today that it has reached an agreement in principle to acquire Westron Communications Inc., an enterprise network solutions company headquartered in Dallas, TX. The transaction will be a stock-for-stock merger and is expected to be accounted for as a pooling-of-interests. The closing will occur before June 30, 1997, and is subject to the completion of final merger documents, the completion of due diligence reviews, and the approval of the Eltrax Board of Directors.
