Don't let the results of Friday night's Syracuse-Army men's lacrosse game, a 17-6 Orange victory, fool you. The Patriot League has become a force in the sport.
Four teams in the seven-team conference -- Colgate, Navy, Army and Bucknell -- entered the season ranked in the top-20 by the coaches. Five players, among them Colgate senior attackman Brandon Corp (Chittenango) and Navy senior defender Andy Tormey (CBA), were on the initial Tewaaraton Trophy watch list released recently.
