WORCESTER, Mass., May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- A class action lawsuit has been filed in the Worcester Superior Court of Massachusetts against The Provident Companies, Inc., The Paul Revere Corporation, and several related insurance companies (collectively, the "Defendants") on behalf of all persons in the United States employed by Paul Revere as full time insurance sales agents, or who were parties to a Paul Revere Career Sales Representative Agreement (known as Career Agents), and were given notice by Provident, after its acquisition of Paul Revere, that their contracts and employment would be terminated effective June 30, 1997.
