HOLDEN - Beginning tonight, Feb. 12, the Gale Free Library is hosting a number of events during the next week to mark the birthday of Abraham Lincoln and to celebrate Valentine's Day.
At 6 p.m. in the children's room, there will be stories about Abraham Lincoln's life as a boy. Designed for children 3-1/2 and older with a parent or guardian, participants also will get to make a log cabin during the half-hour program.
On Feb. 14, the library will show "Animated Hero Classics: Abraham Lincoln" beginning at 11 a.m. Participants are invited to bring a snack as they watch this short film about the Lincoln presidency.
