I wish every one of you could have been with me last week in Baltimore at the second Nursing Education Capacity Summit. This was a terrific opportunity to learn what is happening at the state level to create solutions to the nursing shortage. I was dazzled by what I learned.

First and most important, this event was designed to inspire. Eighteen state teams that have been creating and implementing state-specific solutions met with representatives from the other states and the federal government to share best practices.
