}If last year's sale of Anheuser-Busch to Belgian brewing conglomerate InBev was an earthquake in the beer world, then this week's sale/merger of Rochester's High Falls Brewing Co. and Buffalo-based Labatt USA is at least a pretty severe aftershock.
It creates the potential for a new corporate beer empire in Upstate New York. The impact on beer drinkers here and elsewhere is uncertain.
