BOSTON - What do you do when your big guns aren't firing? If you're the Bruins, you break out your little derringers - lots of them.

With Marc Savard, Phil Kessel, David Krejci and Milan Lucic sputtering on offense, Boston got two goals from rookie Byron Bitz and one each from defensemen Mark Stuart and Aaron Ward on its way to a 6-1 payback rout of the Florida Panthers before a crowd of 16,781 last night at the Garden, halting a two-game losing streak.

It was just the Bruins' second win in their last eight games (2-4-2).
