Dr. Laura Schlessinger is rude, judgmental and moralistic. So why am I often tuning in to her weekday radio show and cheering her on? Because she has a knack for penetrating callers' evasions and excuses and piercing the psychobabble of complaint. In ten minutes, sometimes three, she identifies the problem, sets it in a moral framework and blunt tells the caller what to do. Phew. Time for a commercial.
