May 28--The city has dropped the red flag and adult business owners are ready to charge.
Into court, that is.
A bill filed Tuesday with Metro Council would apply just about every available means of regulating strip bars and adult bookstores. It is backed by the mayor and most of Metro Council.
"We'll fight it with every ounce of energy that we have," said Mike Rucker, manager of the local DeJa Vu, the largest chain of strip bars in the nation. "We're going to protect our livelihood."
But Metro is ready to take the bull by the horns.
"We're ready to take it to trial right now," said bill sponsor Chris Ferrell ...
