WASHINGTON _ Everyone appears to be satisfied with the outcome of the Kelly Flinn case.
Lt. Flinn may now depart the Air Force _ albeit with a less-than-honorable discharge _ without facing trial in a military court for adultery, lying to superior officers, or disobedience of orders, all of which could have landed her in prison. Her career as a commercial pilot may well be blighted, but as I write this, she is probably weighing offers from publishers, producers and lecture bureaus. She is a heroine of sorts to many Americans.
