TWO cup events are the highlights of the races at Sakhir tomorrow.
The richest event of the day is for the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Co (Asry) Cup for Group Two imported horses which carries a cash prize of BD7,000. This race is to be run over 1,400 metres, starting at 4.35pm.
Of the 13 horses in the fray, Dry Ice, owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Alan Smith and to be ridden by Gerald Avranche, looks in best shape to win this race ahead of its nearest rivals Cappa Brack and Louie Louie.
Sowihan, owned by S Mahdi Moosa Mahdi Mohsin, trained by Awn Mubarak and to be ridden by Paul Smith, is tipped to win the Blue Dawn Cup for imported ...
