JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Physician Sales & Service, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSSI) reported operating results for the fourth quarter ended March 28, 1997. The preliminary results were released on May 5, 1997.
For the three months ended March 28, 1997, revenues increased 31% to $187.5 million compared to $143.3 million for the fourth quarter of last year. Revenues for the fiscal year ending March 28, 1997, increased 31% to $691.0 million compared to $529.0 million for fiscal 1996. Same center revenue growth in the Company's core medical supply business grew 18% for fiscal 1997.
