IT IS the independent schools half-term break this weekend, but there is no time off for the cricketers.
There are three independent schools cricket festivals this weekend - for the first teams at St |Alban's; the Under-15s at St Stithians and the |Under-14s at St Peter's.
The St Peter's event is the smallest of the three - St Peter's, St Stithians, St John's, Trinityhouse, Cornwall Hill and St David's are the participants. Play started on Thursday and ends today with the following fixtures: St David's v St Peter's, St John's v St Stithians, Trinityhouse v Cornwall Hill.
