BOSTON, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Liberty Mutual Group announced today that the San Francisco Superior Court approved its acquisition of Golden Eagle Insurance Company on May 30, 1997. Liberty Mutual's bid for the San Diego- based property and casualty insurer had been endorsed by the California Department of Insurance.
At a news conference today with California Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush, Liberty Mutual Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gary L.
