TELL CITY, Ind.--Jun. 2--While Gibson County, Ind., awaits completion of its Toyota assembly plant and Owensboro counts the days before Dana Corp.'s groundbreaking for a truck frame plant, nearby Perry County, Ind., is enjoying its contribution to the Ohio Valley's industrial rebirth.
Just two years after the announcement that Tell City Mayor Bill Goffinet declared "so damn good" for the recession-weary community, Waupaca Foundry Inc. is four months into a heavy production schedule and still on target to start construction on a second phase early next year.
