LOS ANGELES, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Yuki Nishio, who spent four years managing one of the first foreign bank offices to be allowed into the Peoples Republic of China, has been named to the post of senior vice president and head of Sanwa Bank California's Pacific Rim Banking Group.
Nishio, 40, was instrumental in opening Sanwa Bank Ltd.'s branch in Shenzhen, China, where he was posted from 1988 to 1992. His most recent assignment was in Japan, where he was attached to the bank's international division as assistant general manager. Prior to that, he managed branch operations of Sanwa offices in Kobe, Osaka and Tokyo.
