GAELIC GAMES: Captain Declan McKiernan was in outstanding form as St Pat's Drumcondra reversed last year's Trench Cup final result with a five-point victory over Mary Immaculate College, Limerick at Cork IT.
The Cavan native, also the man-of-the-match, kicked six points as the Drumcondra outfit claimed their third title and a second in three years.
Pat's were outstanding with Limerick senior star Ian Ryan held to just two points, including one during the opening half hour as St Pat's held a 0-7 to 0-2 interval lead.
