Three area companies were among those honored Thursday night at the Wisconsin Manufacturing of the Year Awards program in Milwaukee.

The program, now in its 21st year, highlights Wisconsin companies that show a commitment to business excellence.

GE Healthcare of Madison received the Grand Award for companies with 1,000 or more employees. GE Healthcare is a leading provider of anesthesia delivery equipment worldwide, with a 60 percent U.S. market share and a global installed base of more than 100,000 units, the company said.

Sielaff Corp. of Mineral Point won the Grand Award for 1-49 employees. The ...
