Jun. 5--Mesaba Airlines will fly all regional Airlink flights in and out of the Twin Cities under a marketing deal unveiled Wednesday by the carrier and its partner, Northwest Airlines.
The deal, which had been expected, nearly doubles the number of daily flights Mesaba will operate from the Twin Cities. It eliminates Express I, which Northwest purchased earlier this year, from the Twin Cities aviation scene.
The deal could affect about 400 Twin Cities workers who currently work for Express I.
Mesaba plans to offer jobs to Express I workers who meet its criteria, said Warren Wilkinson, Mesaba spokesman. Wilkinson said he doubted ...
