Steel prices drop
Local Steel producers decided to reduce steel prices by at least LE 300 per ton as of March 2009. Meanwhile, Al Ezz Steel Rebars said it will decrease steel prices from LE 3,400 per ton in February 2009 to LE 3,050 per ton. --Al-Ahram
